Emtec Building Services has been  appointed by the University of Edinburgh to deliver an extensive £1.9m  upgrade of one of the institution’s largest student accommodation blocks.

The project provides an  opportunity to enhance the University’s residential portfolio through expert  mechanical and electrical works.

The refurbishment includes  upgrading all bedrooms, showers and corridors, as well as the replacement of  two passenger lifts to improve accessibility and comfort.

Emtec will collaborate closely with the  University’s design team, continuing a successful partnership established on  a previous project of similar scale and scope.
