Emtec Building Services were appointed as the main M&E contractor, working in partnership with Marshall Construction to deliver the installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and associated services.

The project scope also included the design and installation of specialist systems such as fire detection, access control, public address, CCTV and security, AC interconnecting pipework and a building management system(BMS) ensuring the development was fully compliant and energy efficient.

The brand-new student accommodation at Brown Street is designed to provide 147 student flats, including 11 ground floor studio apartments with modern facilities to support both comfort and functionality.

Emtec’s coordinated M&E delivery ensured the smooth integration of building services from essential infrastructure through to advanced security and energy management systems.
