Emtec Building Services delivered  mechanical and electrical works for a new purpose-built student accommodation development in central Edinburgh, designed to house up to 155 students.

The development focused on providing a high-quality, ‘home away from home’ environment, featuring generous shared social spaces, quiet study areas and a large, fully equipped  gym.

A unique feature of this central Edinburgh site is its attractively landscaped gardens, offering students outdoor space rarely available in city-centre developments.

Sustainability is a key priority  with the building designed to be carbon-neutral and achieve BREEAM  ‘Excellent’ status.

Emtec’s M&E scope ensures the integration of efficient heating, ventilation, electrical systems, lighting, fire safety and building management systems, supporting both operational performance and sustainability targets.
