Emtec  Building Services were appointed to deliver the full mechanical and  electrical design and installation package through novation, taking complete  responsibility for the project’s M&E requirements.

As part of  the North Lanarkshire Hub-West programme, this development combined both  education and healthcare facilities within a single modern campus.

The new  primary school features 18 classrooms designed to accommodate 508 pupils,  supported by communal areas, WCs and washrooms, a drama stage/gymnasium, an  assembly hall, full catering kitchen and cafeteria provision. Alongside the  school the building also incorporates healthcare wings comprising 17  treatment rooms and associated support spaces.

Emtec  provided all mechanical and electrical services including heating,  ventilation, cooling, power, lighting, fire alarms, security systems and  external service infrastructure.

The design  was carefully coordinated with the wider construction team to ensure  efficiency and compliance, while also integrating sustainable solutions to  reduce energy consumption and support long-term operational performance.
