Construction of rebound therapy room and gymnasium refurbishment

Works within the Rebound Therapy room included

• Full Strip Out
• Blockwork walls lined with fire protection boards and specialist padded panels
• Ceiling formed with concrete beam and block system to give 2hr fire protection
• Trampoline installation incl. Diamond Cutting through existing concrete floor slab to form aperture and formation of pit
• New fire protection for exposed steelwork
• Installation of distribution board, small power, ventilation and sensory lighting / audio system
• 200kg Manual Traverse Hoist
• New A/C and ventilation system
• Decoration

Gymnasium works included

• Removal of existing ceiling and lights and replacement with new suspended ceiling and LED lights
• Removed areas of bossed floor screed and replaced
• Installation of aluminium external doors
• Supply of new gym equipment

In order minimise the impact of our works on both the pupils and ongoing school operations, the project was carried out over a very tight programme during the summer holiday shut down and at weekends.
