Emtec Building Services was appointed to deliver a full mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the existing clubhouse, alongside the creation of new changing facilities and locker rooms.
The project was particularly challenging as the renovations were carried out mainly underground, ensuring that the facade of the listed building remained unchanged.
Despite these constraints, the works almost tripled the accommodation space making it the largest development at the clubhouse since its foundation stone was laid.
Emtec’s team provided complete M&E services, including design, installation and commissioning, to modernise the building’s mechanical, electrical and building services systems while maintaining the historical integrity of the site.
This project demonstrates Emtec’s expertise in delivering sensitive refurbishments, balancing modern engineering solutions with heritage considerations and significantly enhancing the functionality and capacity of the facility.
