Scope of Works:
Refurbishment of existing library and ancillary spaces, while the library was still functioning, within a category B listed building. Project was broken into 3 nr phases so the building could still be in use while our works were carried out. Liaison with existing users and public throughout the project. Works comprised of removal of existing fixtures, fittings and finishes, alterations to existing DB board (out of hours & weekends), installation of new feature track lighting & recessed floor boxes, repairs to existing floor substructure, installation of new vinyl flooring, repairs to 8nr historic sash & case windows, decoration & sprayed decoration to feature ceilings, walls & pillars. New joinery skirtings/dado rails and window surrounds to match existing mouldings. Within the 3rd phase we also carried out the installation of a new café area, including FF&E, with a new external drainage connection, including inspection chamber.
