The Waldorf Astoria is one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious hotels boasting beautiful architecture, stunning interiors and a luxury experience for its customers.

As with many older buildings, there are challenges with installing mechanical and electrical equipment to suit the needs of a hotel environment, which make the work of maintaining that equipment challenging for the incumbent maintenance contractor. By listening to our clients needs and focussing on business critical items of plant, Emtec Facility Services have been successful in maintaining the hotels systems and are now into our third year of service. Through our process of plant asset registration and condition reporting we have made a number of recommendations which have proven beneficial to the hotel. This experience has played a key role in expanding our offering into more hotels within the Hilton chain, and other prestigious independent hotels.
